UT – Ultrasonic weld quality inspection

Inspection is done by certificated second level specialist (according to LST EN9712). For inspection we use Olympus Epoch LT6 portable flaw detector.  Because Olympus Epoch LT6 is designed to thrive in rope access and high portability applications, it can be used in non-standard situations and meets all requirements of LST EN 12668.

  • Ultrasonic weld quality inspection done by certificated second level specialist (according to LST EN9712)

  • Defects may be seen in 8-40mm thickness welds/sheet metals. For higher thickness inspection must be notified in advance

  • Identification of corrosion damage and metal lamination

  • After the inspection ultrasonic weld quality protocol is provided
