Robust gantry cranes
Single or double girder gantry cranes with a lifting capacity of 200 tonnes are used in the automotive, railway, port, aviation and energy industries as well as in other industries that require the use of loading, unloading and warehousing services.
Based on their support structures, gantry cranes are classified into two groups: A-type or girder-type. Gantry cranes with A-type supports are used for working with heavy loads or with work that requires good visibility from above when handling loads or if the situation dictates that the crane cannot be operated from below. The crane is controlled from an operating cabin or using radio waves. Gantry cranes with girder-type supports are used for lifting and transporting long loads. Their modern construction allows a long load to be manoeuvred on a short girder and in a short period of time. Gantry cranes with girder-type supports are used by metal sales or warehousing companies that have to manipulate loads that measure 12 meters in length or more.
Accuracy and operational speed
Our exceptionally robust gantry cranes ensure just the right conditions for efficient operations when working with heavy-weight loads or loads that demand more accurate positioning. The gantry cranes designed and built by Baltic Cranes Engineering ensure the accuracy and speed of lifting work, the durability of lifting equipment and precise load handling. We also offer specialised gantry cranes designed for industry-specific lifting operations that will guarantee accurate positioning.
